Your portraits are beautiful. It’s a skill I have to work on. I used to love drawing portraits when I was much younger but when I entered high school I stopped drawing and didn’t start again till I was almost 50 years old. I’ve avoided portraits because of the complexity but I’ve started experimenting recently.
Thank you for your compliment! I am glad you started experimenting with portraits again. I have a love/hate relationship with painting portraits on commmission. I’ll do it for about 5 years, then stop. It’s hard to paint people you don’t know, just for the money. I much prefer painting people I know. But THAT does not pay, unfortunatley!
You need to do more portraits, Julie. They are your strong suit! Love you
I like your portraits as well – especially the ones with Cole and Logan & Skittles.
